The organization also uses holistic methods including mindfulness-based relapse prevention, experiential therapy and various methods of family therapy including the Gottman Method, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory. Trauma-informed care, dual diagnosis support and 12-step integration are all worked into the program as well. Still, those resistant to AA and NA can also attend SMART Recovery or Celebrate Recovery meetings.
The staff at Riverside Recovery of Tampa consists of doctors, nurses, LSCWs, LMHCs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
As mentioned, the program also offers more intensive treatment in the form of residential treatment. Similarly, those attending IOP can also work with the organization to be placed in sober livings in the area while attending therapy. Those who complete a primary care plan can also work with staff members to develop step-down aftercare and discharge plans.
