The Basics
Southern California based Revival Recovery Services is a faith based substance abuse treatment program for men located in Apple Valley. Revival offers several treatment services including a residential, Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and step-down outpatient tracks. Clients can expect individual and group counseling, a series of classes, and discipleship, all of which is founded within the 12-step philosophy.
Treatment and Staff
The IOP is a common step-down from the residential program, and clients are accepted into this track after being evaluated during their inpatient program. The IOP is individualized to the client needs and addresses triggers, relapse prevention, setting healthy boundaries and working on their anger.
Once the client enters into the IOP he is assigned a counselor who he meets with at least once a week, in addition to attending several group sessions. There are written assignments clients are expected to complete along with regular journaling and step work. Clients are also expected to attend regular AA/NA meetings and obtain a sponsor. Once they step down into the standard outpatient program the amount of time they are required to come in for counseling lessens significantly.
There are several educational classes and fellowship activities included in all the stages of treatment. Classes include Life Recovery, The Rewards of Fasting and Prayer, Temptation and more. There are church services along with a prayer room on site and regular Bible study within the programs.
Staff of Revival Recovery Services includes CADCs, LCSWs, CATCs, CSACs, LMFTs, spiritual guidance, educators, and life skills educators. Detox and dual diagnosis support are not available through this program.
Extras
While in the outpatient tracks there are some events and activities through the church that clients can attend, and some peer support activities.

The staff is experienced and caring, and the clients are made to feel like they are being taken care of regardless of where they are at in their recovery.
