Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, clients go through an extensive evaluation that includes medical and psychological assessments as well as a complete account of substance use. While the PHP offers an intensive outpatient therapeutic experience where clients can spend their evenings at home, the PHP provides flexible scheduling that allows individuals to receive consistent therapy without taking time off from work or school. The length of treatment completely depends on the needs of the client.
Resurgence employs an integrative care model that includes evidence-based models, psychoeducation, 12-step and holistic practices. Clients engage in individual and group sessions with therapists trained in CBT, DBT, rational emotive behavioral therapy and EMDR to treat trauma as a causal component of current conditions. Therapists also used short-term methods like solution-focused therapy. Clients participate in AA/NA meetings and relapse prevention courses.
The Resurgence team is comprised of nurses, addiction specialists, MFTs, case managers, a psychologist, a transitional counselor and a physician. As previously mentioned, medical services and medication management are available.
