The cozy home offers comfortable accommodations and plenty of amenities including a spacious floor plan, a backyard patio with a barbecue grill and a common area with a fireplace and flatscreen TV. The home has two bedrooms and accommodates six residents. Bedrooms are spacious and equipped with twin or full-sized beds, nice linens, closet space, dressers and a flatscreen TV. Both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, one of which has a large bathtub. Visitors are allowed between 1 and 4 pm on Sundays. There is a house phone open for use.

While the length of residential care depends entirely on the needs of the resident, clients typically stay for either 30, 60 or 90 days.
Many clients transition directly into the detox or stabilization programs. Lake House offers a medical detox process that lasts between three and seven days. Detox offers around-the-clock medical supervision and withdrawal medication to curb unpleasant withdrawal symptoms like nausea and hallucinations. The detox team also employs Suboxone, methadone and naltrexone when residents are struggling with opioids such as heroin and fentanyl.
The facility employs a number of medical and therapeutic methods including evidence-based therapies, psychoeducation, life skills training and holistic practices. Clients engage in regular individual and group therapy sessions with highly trained therapists trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR and rational emotive behavior therapy to help change illogical and negative beliefs. Therapists also utilize solution-focused therapy to focus on future goals rather than past trauma. Clients also participate in 12-step support groups and SMART Recovery groups. There are specialized tracks for clients with eating disorders and process addictions. Lake House provides tailored strategies that include psychoeducation courses that focus on addiction, nutrition therapy, body image and relapse prevention.
The multidisciplinary Resurgence team is comprised of marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, addiction specialists, psychologists, physicians and nursing team. Medication management and medical services are available for residents with co-occurring mental health conditions.
