Founded in 2006 by Bob and Joy Seward, Restoring Lives primarily serves clients that are homeless or at risk of being incarcerated. Restoring Lives is situated in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A 10 minute drive from the Arkansas River, the facility provides a supportive and stable atmosphere ideal for clients looking to focus on their recovery. With room for 18 residents at a time, Restoring Lives offers both a tight-knit community of peers as well as the privacy needed to focus on recovery. While most clients stay in private bedrooms, there are also two shared rooms.  

Rules and Regulations

Restoring Lives provides a solid foundation as well as valuable resources and services for individuals looking for a fresh start. The facility expects residents to take responsibility for their own recovery journey.

Clients must adhere to a strict code of conduct that begins with mutual respect and common sense. Residents must keep their living area clean, perform daily chores and comply with a reasonable curfew. Negative behaviors such as theft, violence and confrontation will result in eviction.

In order to be admitted into Restoring Lives, residents must be at least 21 years old and completely committed to a life change. The facility also administers regular and random testing for alcohol and substance use. Individuals that test positive will be asked to leave the home. Residents must also procure employment soon after arrival, and keep up with weekly rental payments.
