This track focuses on clients identifying the cycle of addiction, how to handle triggers and emotions associated with cravings, relapse prevention, and coping skills. In addition, dual diagnosis clients receive medication management.
The outpatient programs utilize evidence-based approaches to address mental health concerns, like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and more. There is also an emphasis on uncovering unresolved trauma, managing stress, and reducing shame related to mental illness. Common therapeutic approaches includes CBT, Solutions Focused Therapy, expressive therapies, and recreational therapy.
Staff of the IOP and PHP are LADCs, LCSWs, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, dietitians and recreational therapists.

Clients work with their therapist to set goals throughout treatment and establish an aftercare plan. Aftercare includes follow up sessions and referrals to community agencies.
