Treatment and Staff
The adult inpatient track focuses on stabilizing clients quickly and getting them on a regimented treatment program. The program consists of daily group therapy, therapeutic activities, expressive therapies, and recreational therapy. During the initial assessment clients discuss their concerns surrounding their mental health and provide answers regarding their psychiatric and physical history. This also covers any experience with drugs and alcohol, or past traumas. These programs offers trauma-informed care protocols in addition to evidence-based therapies.
Treatment addresses an array of mental illnesses and co-occurring conditions. Clients in this program participate in activities within their unit. The adult inpatient program is individualized, so clients are not required to remain in treatment for any set length of time.
Common treatment approaches in this program are based on CBT, DBT and Solutions Focused Therapies. Group therapy addresses relapse prevention, establishing healthy boundaries, improving communication, family relationships, and identifying triggers.
Staff includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nursing staff, internists, dietitians, recreational therapists, and LCSWs.
Extras
Throughout treatment clients work on their aftercare plan with their assigned therapist. This includes a safety plan, and options to step down to the outpatient care tracks.
