Accommodations and Amenities
The sober residences of Red Hawk Recovery consist of several two bedroom apartments that are fully furnished with a variety of amenities in a safe, quiet Sandy Springs neighborhood. The apartments boast new appliances and furniture, along with significant storage space, and every client gets their own closet.
The apartment complex sits on 25 acres of land that includes a picturesque lake complete with two pools, picnic space, walking trails and playground on the campus. There is a shared patio space with a tranquil view of the lake. A washer and dryer on site are available for clients to use at any time.
Rules and Regulations
Red Hawk Recovery requires a highly structured daily schedule that includes morning prayer and meditation followed up by chores and daily 12-step meetings held on and off site. There is no set amount of time that clients are required to stay, and every person is held accountable for their actions. An average amount of time that residents typically stay is around six months, though it’s common to stay for longer if necessary.
Upon admission clients are expected to submit for frequent random drug screenings, and commit to obtaining a sponsor right away. All incoming clientele have to be at Red Hawk Recovery voluntarily and therefore be willing participants of the program. Once they are fully acclimated, they can expect highly structured days that include several group sessions in addition to an array of therapeutic recreational experiences.
Staff includes 24/7 resident managers in addition to CADCs and LPCs.
Extras
Residents at Red Hawk Recovery enjoy a clubhouse on campus that features a state-of-the-art fitness center, a theater with stadium seating and a business center.
There are special provisions for clients who are pregnant, and the facility offers these women special resources and accommodations.
