Accommodations and Amenities
The Recovery House has a total of 20 beds for men and women in gender-separated rooms, shared between two to three clients at a time. Each comes with basic amenities, including twin beds, dressers and closet space. The home features shared common areas with TV, on-site laundry, a dining room and kitchen. Throughout their stay, clients are expected to prepare their own meals.
Rules and Regulations
To stay at the facility, residents must also be attending a concurrent MAT) like or are welcome to attend as are those with .program either through Saint Francis Hospital or an outside organization. Because clients generally stay in the short-term at Recovery House before transitioning to a longer-term sober living, it has no strict employment requirements. Instead, residents are expected to attend and at the facility; which includes vocational services, life skills, gender-specific recovery groups and meetings. Because the organization is affiliated with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, clients in need of, or outpatient treatment can receive referrals as necessary. During their stay, residents can also work with staff members to find jobs and enroll in additional state-funded programs.
Overall, Recovery House is a safe and stable home for men and women looking to transition into longer-term sober living. During their stay, residents attend individual and group therapy as well as 12-step support, all while putting the necessary systems in place to secure ongoing support. While somewhat of a niche option, Recovery House remains a helpful and affordable resource for those in the area.
