The Basics
REACH, Inc. is an outpatient mental health facility that offers chemical dependency treatment as well as case management services. Located in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, REACH offers a wide range of holistic treatment options. Certified by the state of Wisconsin, REACH is licensed to offer general counseling services as well as alcohol and drug treatment. Treatment and Staff
REACH provides individualized treatment for those seeking relief from chemical dependency as well as co-occurring disorders. Prior to enrollment, clients are seen privately for a bio-psycho-social assessment which helps to determine the level of treatment needed and the ideal counselor for the client. Individual therapy is the primary method of treatment and clients are given schedules based on need—with some clients attending treatment three times per week and others only once per week. Counselors use evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT.
Length of time spent in treatment is dependent upon the individual and progress is tracked by the clinical staff. Clients may also benefit from Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), faith-based treatments and psychoeducation courses. Group therapy is available using DBT and process formats. Many clients are encouraged to attend 12-step meetings in the surrounding area to support the recovery process. Group and individual sessions are overseen by CASACs as well as Master’s-level practitioners who have additional certifications to work with addiction.
Extras
REACH has a range of mental health services, including chronic pain relief using massage, acupressure, meditation techniques, stretching classes, gentle exercise and electrical stimulation. Therapeutic services also focus on divorce recovery, grief counseling, self esteem and eating disorders. Additionally, vocational assistance is available for those seeking employment and staff connect clients with other community resources as needed.
