Quinco Mental Health was founded in 1976 in Bolivar, Tennessee, a small town west of Memphis. The organization offers outpatient substance abuse treatment in two loactions, as well as support for co-occurring disorders, to adolescents and adults.
Treatment and Staff
The program consists of both group and individual counseling; however, the exact length and intensity of treatment is based on an individual assessment. Groups are one-hour and consist of three to 12 clients. Counselors use a variety of treatment techniques including DBT and relapse prevention. Quinco also offers gender-specific groups that provide clients with a safe space to explore men’s and women’s issues. Individual counseling is scheduled upon request only.
Clients with a dual diagnosis are offered additional support via individual and group sessions with mental health counselors. There is also a psychiatric nurse practitioner who services clients with co-occurring disorders.
Quinco offers special groups for court-ordered adolescents, offered in the afternoons and evenings to accommodate academic schedules.
Quinco Mental Health offers flexible and individualized outpatient substance abuse treatment to adult and adolescents in the Bolivar, Selmer and surrounding areas. Using a combination of evidence-based practices and relapse prevention help clients to develop positive thought patterns and corrective behavior. The gender-specific groups allow men and women to explore their issues in a safe and supportive environment.
