QuIHN Brisbane Review
QuIHN is a non-profit treatment organization with five locations throughout Queensland, Australia. Treatment and Staff

QuIHN psychologists facilitate therapy sessions rooted in evidence-based CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as solution-focused therapy, attachment-based therapy and schema therapy that integrates multiple forms. Therapy sessions are typically held weekly for 50 minutes. Clients can attend as many therapy sessions as necessary to meet their needs. The facility also offers group therapy sessions and psychoeducation that focuses on dependency, problem solving and self esteem. The facility also offers acupuncture, mindfulness and narrative therapy to help clients identify their own strengths and confront issues.
The QuIHN team includes physicians, counselors, social workers and psychologists. Medication management is available for dual diagnosis support.
Extras
Peer support and community are important elements of the program. The facility hosts a weekly barbecue.
In addition, QuIHN offers a harm reduction services like the needle and syringe exchange program. These health promotions reduce the risk of infection and disease amongst clients and the local community.
