The Basics
Founded in 1989, Quest Center for Integrated Health is a non-profit behavioral health facility that provides outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Based in Portland, Oregon, it admits both self-referred and court-ordered clients, with additional programs available for clients with DUI/DWIs.
Treatment and Staff
After an initial assessment, staff members develop individualized treatment plans for each client. Both the outpatient and IOP level of care include a combination of individual and group therapy. Sessions employ evidence-based practices, like CBT, DBT and holistic methods like acupuncture, psychodrama, naturopathy, Chinese medicine and yoga. The facility also provides psychiatric support for clients requiring dual diagnosis support. Though 12-step participation is not a requirement, clients are encouraged to attend outside meetings if they wish.
Staff consists of LPCs, CADCs, LADCs, LCSWs, RNs and additional Master’s and doctorate-level clinicians.
Extras
Additional services include stand-alone osteopathic and naturopathic care, nutritional counseling, extensive HIV/AIDS education and counseling. Mental health counseling services and holistic pain management programs are offered as an alternative to medication management. Support groups are also available for cancer survivors. Finally, aftercare is offered in the form of outpatient treatment at a stepped down rate.
