Treatment and Staff
Residents undergo an extensive intake evaluation that includes medical and psychological assessments as well as a family history and an overview of substance use. From there, the team uses the results to determine the best possible personalized care plan tailored to meet the needs of the person.
If necessary, residents first enter the detox program. Quality Living provides a comprehensive detox that includes medication to help curb painful withdrawal symptoms. Upon completion, clients generally transfer into the residential program. While the length of care varies from person to person, clients typically last between 30 and 45 days.
Quality Living seeks to heal the “whole person” in addition to treating symptoms. As such, the facility provides an integrative approach to care that includes evidence-based models, traditional therapy, psychoeducation and life skills. Clients engage in individual, group and family therapy rooted in CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to resolve client indifference. Psychoeducation courses focus on a range of relevant topics such as addiction, relapse prevention, coping strategies, general wellness and nutrition.
The facility employs a team made up of case managers, therapists, clinicians and addiction counselors. Medication is available for residents in need of dual diagnosis support.
Quality Living Center also offers a specialized track to help clients quit smoking.
