Purpose Healing Center (PHC) is an upscale addiction treatment facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Family owned and operated, it offers both inpatient and outpatient services for adults. Clients receive comprehensive care that includes 12-step support, holistic modalities, evidence-based protocols, and medication management. Purpose was just given an accreditation from The Joint Commission for delivering high quality, client focused care.
Accommodations and Food
PHC’s residential facility provides a luxury living experience for clients residing here during their treatment. There are five bedrooms, four of which have en suite bathrooms, and one half bath. The large kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Clients relax in the spacious living room complete with flat screen TV and comfy couches.
The large backyard includes a covered patio, gas BBQ, pool, spa and outdoor dining area.
Clients are served gourmet meals three times a day. The meals are prepared by an on-site chef. Specific dietary restrictions are honored.
Treatment and Staff
Purpose Healing Center has residential and outpatient program options. Residential clients have 30, 60 and 90 day tracks. Throughout treatment, clients attend group and individual therapy, work on social skills, learn relapse prevention techniques, and attend community AA/NA meetings.
Outpatient services consist of a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The PHP runs four to six hours per day for at least five days a week. The IOP offers over nine hours of programming between five to seven days a week. The IOP is more flexible than the PHP in that treatment hours are offered during the day, evening and weekend hours. As clients progress through this level of treatment they step down in days and hours. The IOP incorporates many of the same therapies and activities as the residential program.
Common therapies include CBT, Rational Emotive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness approaches. Additional elements to treatment at Purpose Healing includes medication management and dual diagnosis specific programming.
Clients have access to medical staff 24 hours a day. Other staff members include LCSWs and LPCs.
Extras
Clients can expect a number of therapeutic services like yoga, meditation, and nutrition.
Family therapy is also included during treatment.
