The Basics
Prodigy Healthcare, Inc. is an organization offering comprehensive behavioral healthcare services to adolescents and their families based on evidence-based practices. Treatment and Staff
The outpatient substance abuse treatment program offered by PHI includes intervention programming with an emphasis on developmental differences which aims to help parents and family members talk to the client about the dangers of substance use and the benefits of early treatment.
Once the client is enrolled into the program, a team of counselors assess the client’s unique situation to begin developing an individualized treatment plan which highlights the aspects of treatment best suited for the client.
Treatment combines individual and group therapy, family therapy, life skills, relapse prevention and developmental issues. Clients typically attend three group sessions per week, one individual session and one family session. Life skills, developmental issues and relapse prevention are held intermittently throughout the week. The duration of each program is dependent on the progress of the client and is subject to change at any time. The 12-steps are not integrated into the program.
The staff at PHI consists of LPCs, LSWs and CADCs.
Extras
In addition to the comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs, PHI also offers treatment for a variety of other behavioral health problems and other issues as well. A life skills program, anger management, gang prevention and intervention and a parenting education program are all available.
