Treatment and Staff

These wards vary from locked facilities to open units that are helping clients work towards transitioning out of treatment.
Clients in these programs are, for the most part, referrals from other agencies like prisons or intensive inpatient programs. However, some clients come to this facility on their own accord because they are experiencing a crisis and need support.
Treatment employs a evidence-based approaches during group and individual therapy. Women with traumatic events in their pasts have regular DBT and trauma-informed care groups weekly.

In addition to traditional treatment methods, clients also have art and music therapy and recreational therapies. Finally, clients also focus on relapse prevention, managing moods and reactions and communication within the community.
Therapists and support staff are psychiatrists, occupations psychologists, nurses, social workers and case managers, and fitness instructors.

Regardless of the level of care, every client receives personalized and comprehensive programming. Above all, every day clients take part in their recovery and actively work towards their return to their communities.
