Treatment and Staff
During intake, Pivot administers a comprehensive review of the client’s medical, psychological and substance use history. Based on the results, a team develops a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to meet the needs and goals of the individual. Most clients transition immediately into either the Pivot outpatient program or are referred to a partner inpatient detox. Detox is medically supervised by physicians and a nursing team. Medications are administered that temper uncomfortable withdrawal effects. Upon completion, clients typically transition into Pivot’s comprehensive residential plan.
Through a holistic, integrative treatment approach Pivot treats the “whole person.” The team employs a multi-faceted care strategy that includes a individual and group therapy, family therapy, recreation, experiential therapy, holistic practices and a wellness curriculum. Clients engage in daily individual and group therapy and 12-step meetings.
The multi-disciplinary team at Pivot is comprised of psychiatrists, medical doctors, Master’s- level therapists, wellness coaches, nutritionists, addiction specialists and a nursing team.
