The Basics
Recovery Works Georgetown is a multi-track facility offering outpatient as well as residential treatment. Located in Georgetown, Kentucky, RWG offers an individualized treatment approach for adult men and women who are seeking a new way of life. RWG is a member of Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a treatment organization with 29 facilities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Kentucky, Virginia and Michigan.
Treatment and Staff
Outpatient treatment at RWG is 28 days with an option for detox and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). All clients are brought in for an assessment with the clinical staff which determines the best course of treatment and any additional services the client may need. Depending on insurance, they may be enrolled in either an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or a Partial Hospital Program (PHP). All programs are 12-step based and utilize local meetings to support their clients.
The IOP track offers group and individual therapy. Clients also attend psychoeducation classes on addiction, as well as regular attendance of 12-step meetings of their choice. Clients also have the option of scheduling marital and family counseling sessions.
During the treatment period, clients are provided medical and psychological services including physicals, TB, HIV and STD testing. Referrals for medical assistance may also be given. Clients receiving Suboxone or methadone doses are seen by physicians and registered nurses to ensure their stabilization. The IOP includes sessions throughout the week. both in the mornings and evenings.
The PHP track is facilitated Monday through Friday and is a more intensive track. Ideal for clients transitioning from inpatient treatment to outpatient, this track provides both structure and flexibility. PHP also is an ideal track for clients with co-occurring disorders who require dual diagnosis support.
Clients are seen by Master’s-level clinicians who provide medication management. Staff credentials include LCSWs, LADCs, physicians, psychiatrists and nurses.

RWG helps clients find housing during their treatment. Referrals for sober living facilities are also available.
