The programming is entirely gender-specific, using evidence-based treatment approaches and a strong foundation in the 12 steps. During their time in treatment, clients are offered a series of educational and life skills classes set within a structured environment that provides safety and accountability.
Accommodations and Food
The men’s residential program offers two houses that are over 5,000 square feet on several acres of land. Clients have semi private bedrooms furnished with full beds and upscale furnishings. The modern homes are spacious and offer a number of amenities including a home gym and movie theater. There is a large kitchen and dining room where meals are served. Clients are given a stipend for food weekly and prepare what they’d like for themselves. There are laundry facilities on site and 360 degree views from the many balconies throughout the home. Additionally there are residential techs on the premises 24 hours a day.
Treatment and Staff
Clients participate in a morning and afternoon group therapy every day, and there are several individual sessions offered throughout the week. Daily AA and NA meetings are attended and bi-weekly fellowship activities.
The men meet with a psychiatrist weekly for evaluations and the staff works to provide the proper amount of balance for stabilization through a regime of medication, nutrition, exercise and therapy. There are trauma therapy sessions offered along with CBT, DBT, EMDR, art and music therapy and more. All in all, clients get between 15 and 30 hours of treatment per week depending on their individual needs.
Throughout their time in treatment clients are also given assistance with vocational training and placement or enrolling in school. They work on relapse prevention, coping skills and have a number of life skills classes available.
The staff is comprised of both medical and clinical professionals who are CADC, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, CNTP, physicians and psychologists.
Clients get a membership to 24 Hour Fitness the moment they walk in the door of the facility. They are also taken to fitness classes at Phoenix Multisport several times a week and are offered a number of outdoor recreational activities.
An aftercare support program is offered to alumni, and there is an intensive family program that takes place over a weekend during the 90 days of treatment.
