Before completing treatment, clients go through a week-long high-adventure program that includes rock climbing, rappelling and a ropes course.
The Outback team has a physician, paramedic, field instructors, marriage and family therapists, LSWs and mental health counselors. As previously mentioned, medical services are available as is medication management.

Outback Therapeutic Expeditions believes that family involvement is a key component to the success of a sustainable recovery. As a result, the facility keeps families informed of their child’s progress. In addition, parents take part in seminars and coursework, and there is an option for a three-day family adventure.
