Located in Atlantis, Florida, Origins of Hope is a small treatment facility that provides a full range of flexible outpatient options for women struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. All treatment is individualized and options include an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and standard outpatient.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, clients go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members develop their individualized treatment plans. Detox is not available on-site but those in need can get referrals to nearby programs. While each plan can vary significantly, PHP is the most intensive track and takes up most of the day while IOP meets three times a week for several hours per session.
In each track, treatment includes individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based practices such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Groups cover many topics including 12-step recovery, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, social skills, recreational therapy and case management. Each program includes psychiatric and medical oversight as well as dual diagnosis support.
Holistic treatment methods at Origins of Hope include equine therapy, acupuncture and yoga. Other ancillary services include counseling for domestic violence, vocational training, childcare help and parenting classes. Those who finish primary care can also continue with therapy at a stepped down rate as a form of aftercare.
In all, Origins of Hope is a well-rounded treatment facility offering flexible options for clients in need. Treatment includes a range of therapeutic practices, 12-step integration and dual diagnosis support as necessary. Though the prices of these programs may vary depending on each client’s insurance, Origins of Hope’s outpatient plans remain a strong resource in the Palm Beach County region of southern Florida.
