Based out of Wooster, Ohio, OneEighty (formally known as STEPS at Liberty Center) is an expansive behavioral health organization with a range of programs for men and women struggling with chemical dependency. It offers residential and sober living programs as well as outpatient treatment to self-referred and court-ordered clients.
Treatment and Staff
Before treatment begins, clients undergo an initial assessment to help staff members develop an individualized treatment plan. Programs are available in both basic and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) with flexible lengths of stay. One of the IOP options is CHOICES, a track catered towards self-referred clients who are 18 years or older. This program meets for three hours a day, three days a week, during the initial phase. The CADET program is designed for court-ordered clients and meets twice a day, four times a week.
Though the specifics of each client’s program vary, treatment works within the structure of individual, group and family therapy that uses evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT. Additional services include EMDR, case management and dual diagnosis support. All clients are also required to attend regular 12-step meetings as part of treatment.
The IOP also includes a step-down stage as a form of aftercare. Sessions in this period generally focus on relapse prevention and reintegrating into society. Other services include standalone group therapy and assessments as well as school-based counseling.
Overall, OneEighty’s outpatient programs are flexible; treating men and women who are over 18 with a combination of evidence-based methods and 12-step support. For self-referred and court-ordered clients in the area seeking affordable and individualized care, OneEighty’s outpatient options offer something for everyone.
