Northwest Resources II Inpatient Review
With locations throughout Washington, Northwest Resources II is a multi-faceted behavioral health organization that provides treatment for self-referred and court-ordered clients. Founded in 1993, it offers outpatient programs as well as an inpatient track exclusively for men in Shelton.
Accommodations and Food
The facility has a total of 16 beds—four double rooms and eight singles— for men 18 years and older. Each is equipped with twin beds and basic amenities, with laundry on-site. The staff chef prepares three buffet-style meals daily.
Treatment and Staff
After an initial intake and assessment, clients work with staff members to develop an individualized treatment plan. Therapy is offered in both individual and group formats and uses a range of evidence-based practices, such as Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Groups address psychoeducation, Seeking Safety and 12-step concepts. Family therapy is available in the form of weekly multi-family groups. Additional support is offered for clients with co-occurring disorders. More unique are the facility’s 12-step yoga sessions where clients meditate on recovery principles during their practice, though other holistic services like acupuncture are also available.
Staff consists of case managers, CDPs, LMHCs and additional Bachelor’s and Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
Additional services include help with gambling addiction, outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), DUI/DWI classes and standalone mental health counseling and case management.
