The Basics
Northeast Addictions Treatment Center opened July, 2016 in the Boston suburb of Quincy, Massachusetts. The facility offers co-ed, evidence-based substance abuse treatment including detox and a day treatment/Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The organization was founded by a group of friends from the Boston area who were concerned by the addiction of epidemic sweeping their city. They decided to take action and the vision for the Northeast Addictions Treatment Center was born.
Treatment and Staff
Northeast Addictions Treatment Center offers several detox options, which provide supportive outpatient counseling in addition to medical services. The goal is total abstinence from all substances.
The Northeast Addictions Treatment Center’s PHP lasts a minimum of 14 days and can extend to two or even six months. PHP provides 25 hours of treatment in a combination of group and individual therapy every week as well as relapse prevention classes. Clients spent their days in the group and individual sessions from nine am to five pm, Mondays through Fridays, with an hour for lunch in between sessions. There is an emphasis on the 12-steps and clients are strongly encouraged to take part in off-site AA/NA meetings at night.
The Northeast Addictions Treatment Center employs CADCs, a psychiatrist and Master’s-level therapists.

The NATC also provides life-skills classes and a monthly family program which includes group counseling sessions where loved ones can share their struggles and solutions .
