Baxter House, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is a transitional care home for men, conveniently located 15 minutes north of Providence. While the home is owned by NewFound Recovery, it is operated by Phoenix House of New England.is an organization that provides environments for men and women in the New England area. Accommodations and Amenities
The three-story house is divided into three units: a one-bedroom apartment on the top floor for a married couple, a two-bedroom apartment on the middle floor for three residents and a three-bedroom apartment on the first floor for four residents. Though the levels remain separate from one another, each has a communal living area with a TV and kitchenette. Bedrooms come equipped with twin beds (with the exception of a queen bed in the top unit), end tables and shared closet space. Rules and Regulations
Applicants must be 30 days substance-free unless they are currentlythose on or are welcome to attend. All clients must remain sober, participate in random and regular drug testing, maintain employment, attend regular meetings and obey a basic house behavioral contract.
Clients looking forto attend in conjunction with sober living can receive referrals to local programs.
