The Basics
Located in the Orlando suburb of Winter Park, Florida, NewBridge Recovery and Wellness Center provides outpatient treatment for substance abuse, trauma and co-occurring conditions. A full continuum of care is offered for adults, including outpatient detox, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Treatment and Staff
Treatment at NewBridge begins with an assessment and evaluation so that an individualized treatment plan can be developed. The outpatient detox program accepts adults currently using or experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms from drugs and alcohol. It consists of a physician-supervised stabilization that typically lasts seven days. The detox program also includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) using Suboxone, Naltrexone or Vivitrol, B-12 nutritional supplementation IV therapy and participation in the PHP.
The day PHP program runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 1 pm. This level is designed for clients that are participating in the outpatient detox or have completed inpatient treatment and need to continue with structured care. The IOP is 10 to 12 hours a week and consists of three group sessions for three hours each. Sessions are offered in the afternoon or evening to accommodate work and school. All programs employ evidence-based practices, like CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and there are specialized sessions geared towards clients with a dual diagnosis.
The staff consists of LPCs, LCSWs and LADCs.
Extras
The family program is for the loved ones of PHP and IOP clients. It includes multi-family groups and family counseling sessions as well as addiction education. This provides a way for family members to become knowledgeable, comfortable and accepting of the recovery process.
NewBridge Recovery & Wellness Center also offers court-ordered substance abuse assessments and DUI classes. Anger management and domestic violence classes are also available.
In Summary
NewBridge Recovery & Wellness Center outpatient offerings incorporate MAT detox with individualized treatment programs. With its built-in family program and a strong emphasis on developing coping skills, NewBridge Recovery & Wellness Center provides a well-rounded approach to recovery.
