The Basics
With locations in Baltimore and Curtis Bay, Maryland, New Vision Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is a mental health facility that offers flexible treatment for clients of all ages. Treatment and Staff
Perspective clients undergo a three-step intake process; this includes a diagnostic assessment, a one-on-one session with a therapist and a psychiatric evaluation with the staff psychiatrist. While the intensity of each program may vary, all treatment works within the structure of individual and group therapy that uses evidence-based practices, like CBT. Therapy is also designed to be solution-focused and person-centered, with additional family and relationship counseling available as necessary.
For dual diagnosis clients, additional psychiatric support and medication management is offered. While 12-step participation is not necessarily required, clients can get referrals to local meetings upon request. Staff consists of LPCs, LCSWs and a board-certified psychiatrist.
Extras
Aftercare is offered in the form stepped-down outpatient treatment. Additional services include standalone psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments, as well as a 24-hour crisis hotline for psychiatric emergencies. New Vision also provides referrals to local residential treatment program for those in need of more intensive care.
