The Basics
Neuro Wellness is an outpatient treatment facility located a short drive north of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It aims to assist those coping with mental health issues like depression, bipolar disorder and OCD. Neuro Wellness provides comprehensive psychiatric services including medication management, therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Treatment
Before beginning treatment, clients undergo an initial consultation that covers the individual’s symptoms, medical and psychological past as well as personal circumstances. This extensive evaluation also includes a complete psychiatric exam, which helps the team determine the most effective possible TMS treatment plan. From there, clients participate in regular TMS sessions that typically last about 40 minutes, in rooms equipped with televisions. While the length of care varies depending on the specific needs of the client, most treatment programs take six weeks with five appointments per week. From there, many clients continue with two sessions a week for three additional weeks. As each treatment plan is customized, the Neuro Wellness team continually reviews client’s progress and adjusts accordingly.
Extras
For clients that cannot afford to pay out of pocket, Neuro Wellness offers financing options. The facility, along with the Neurostar Reimbursement Support program, works with insurance companies for approval. As TMS is typically approved on a case-by-case basis, the reimbursement program greatly benefits clients seeking coverage. In addition, other financing options like personal loans, flex plans and health savings accounts are available.
