The Basics
David Nazarian, M.D. offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for alcohol and opioid addiction in addition to in-home detox services. Dr. Nazarian’s thriving concierge medicine practice, My Concierge MD, has two locations in the Los Angeles area, in Beverly Hills and Tarzana, in the San Fernando Valley. Dr. Nazarian uses Suboxone and Vivitrol for MAT and has the expertise to attend to other aspects of physical health and well-being, offering clients a uniquely holistic approach to MAT.
Dr. Nazarian’s office prides itself on its privacy and flexibility, making it popular among those in the entertainment industry and other high-profile professions. Dr. Nazarian provides in-home detox at clients’ residences and hotels in addition services at his two office locations.
Treatment and Staff
Each treatment plan in highly-customized and length of treatment varies according to client goals and progress. In addition to Suboxone and Vivitrol, Dr. Nazarian encouraged clients recovering from substance abuse to have NAD infusion therapy, and IV treatment for the repair of neurotransmitters. Nutritional counseling and supplement therapy is also highly recommended, and My Concierge MD has a nutritionist on staff as well as three patient care coordinators to make sure each client is able to access the services they need.
Dr. Nazarian also encourages clients to engage in therapy while in addiction treatment. He works with a number of psychologists who provide individual counseling as well as psychiatrists who can support clients with co-occurring disorders.
Dr. Nazarian is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA and graduated from The Sackler School of Medicine. He then performed his residency at the USC-affiliated Huntingdon Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Nazarian previously worked as an emergency room physician and as a physician at the Motion Picture Group, where his work with members of the entertainment industry alerted him to the need for the discrete, targeted treatment provided by concierge medicine. My Concierge MD has been providing MAT since 2009.
