Muse Treatment is a luxury rehab network based in Los Angeles, California. Muse offers a full continuum of care for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders with four facilities just a short distance from each other. They include a detox and residential treatment house, an outpatient clinic and gender-specific sober living homes for men and women. Muse is different from other programs because it operates with the philosophy that not everybody can recover from substance abuse and mental health disorders the same way. Accommodations and Food
The Muse residential treatment facility is a tidy duplex in the heart of Culver City. The completely remodeled home that sleeps up to 10 clients who are in the first phases of treatment. There are five gender-specific double-occupancy bedrooms and three bathrooms. The home is beautifully decorated and the comfy living areas have WiFi, huge TVs with cable and comfortable seating areas for socializing and winding down after a day of treatment.
A private chef prepares healthy meals and snacks on a daily basis. The menu is can be designed to meet the dietary needs and restrictions of the clients.
Treatment and Staff
Muse offers primary 30 and 60 day program options and accepts most insurance. Clients receive completely individualized treatment plans based on their situation and recovery goals. Those who require detox can complete that process on-site under medical supervision. After clients are physically stable, they can smoothly transition to the inpatient level of care.
Muse utilizes a three-pronged approach to recovery. This includes traditional therapy, neural recovery and 12-step programming. Clients work with their therapists to design a treatment plan that incorporates individual and group therapy using CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and relapse prevention. Other therapeutic techniques focus on trauma-informed care and include dual diagnosis support for those with co-occurring disorders. Clinical staff also provide brain mapping to determine the most effective possible way to treat clients. Muse’s neural rehabilitation program offers unique computerized cognitive training, biofeedback and neurofeedback. Residents also attend several area NA/AA meetings per week.
The clinical staff at Muse is on-site seven days a week. They include PhD and Master’s-level therapists, CADCs, LMFTs, as well as medical professionals that supervise the detox process.
Extras
As part of the Muse continuum, clients who have completed their residential program can easily transition into the outpatient facility and sober living houses.
A fitness center membership is included in the benefits of the Muse program and clients are regularly transported to the gym. Clients are also taken on outings including movies, restaurants, theme parks, local parks and other recovery fellowship activities.
