Treatment and Staff

Mirror, Inc. offers both basic outpatient and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Clients undergo an initial assessment so that they are placed in the appropriate program. IOP lasts four to six weeks while the basic outpatient is more flexible and is often paired with the sober living program.

Programs are individualized using evidence-based practices like Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and CBT in conjunction with regular 12-step participation. Treatment focused primarily on group therapy but individual sessions may be scheduled as needed. Topics include interpersonal skills and psycho-education. Basic support for co-occurring disorders is provided.

Each facility is generally staffed with 15 to 20 credentialed personnel; including LADCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LCACs, MDs, psychologists and nurses.

In addition to outpatient treatment, Mirror, Inc. offers what they call intermediate care—a 28-day residential program with 24-hour supervision. Treatment for gambling addiction is also available.

A free program for under- or unemployed fathers called Work for Success is a four-week course focusing on personal development is also available. Resources include job readiness skills like employment applications and resume building, interview practice, job retention counseling and more. Each client is assigned a case manager to work with throughout the process, as well as weekly group sessions for on-going support. The program also works on repairing damaged relationships between fathers and their children if needed.

For those who have received a DUI, alcohol and drug information school is available. Reintegration services are also offered to ex-convicts, including on-site prison counseling and placement in halfway houses.
