Located in Phuket, Thailand, Miracles Asia is a luxury concierge residential treatment facility that opened in early 2017. Accommodations and Food
Clients at Miracles Asia stay in villas that are both private and semi private and fully equipped to provide maximum comfort. Every bedroom has comfort temperature controls and private en suite bathrooms. Large windows offer panoramic views of the ocean and rubber plantation adjacent to the facility. Shared common areas include an indoor and outdoor dining area, and lounge.
Each client has a personal chef who prepares meals for them individually depending on their taste and preferences. Additionally there are group meals and family style healthy snacks provided.
Treatment and Staff
Detox at Miracles takes place on-site in private rooms that are medically supervised 24 hours a day until the client feels ready to participate in group activities. There are also concierge nursing services offered.
Miracles provides a peaceful and structured day of treatment that begins with a 7 am wake up, meditation and breakfast. The first group session is psychoeducational then journaling and a 12-step meeting right before lunch. The afternoon is comprised of group sessions that focus on personal experiences in addiction and individual assignments, dinner, then a final 12-step meeting before lights out.
The programs are based on three phases of stabilization, addressing the root cause of the addiction and planning for discharge and a new life in recovery. Additionally Miracles offers The Six Pillars of Healthy Living, which are service work, spirituality, meditation and mindfulness, exercise and healthy living, healthy communication and the 12 steps.
Evidence-based models are integrated into treatment using CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focused Therapy. There are two individual sessions offered per week as well.
The large staff include CADCs, CSAS clinicians, psychologists and medical staff.
Extras
There is a Ph balanced pool on the grounds that is set to match the Ph of a person’s eyes. Additionally there are spa massage services, maid service, and a personal trainer on site. Clients participate in a variety of luxury activities like scuba diving, boat trips, visiting the elephant santuary, local national parks, horseback riding and Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and Meditation.
