The Basics

Treatment and Staff
After an intake session, Brubaker and his associate (an LSAC) create a treatment plan that includes weekly group and individual therapy anywhere from five weeks to six months. Therapy uses CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and groups also explore addiction education and anger management. Groups don’t exceed 15 participants.
Clients with co-occurring disorders are referred to mental health clinics and private doctors for dual diagnosis support. Brubaker strongly encourages clients to attend 12-step or other peer support meetings—such as SMART Recovery—while enrolled in the outpatient track.
