The Basics

MFI Recovery’s Raincross women’s treatment facility in Riverside, California, offers residential care in a quiet and safe community. Treatment addresses addiction and dual diagnosis concerns through 12-step support and evidence-based practices, like The Matrix Model and CBT, along with some holistic approaches, like weekly equine therapy. Every client has an individualized treatment plan that is highly structured and supportive.

Accommodations and Food

The Raincross women’s facility provides safety and comfort within a comfortable home-like setting. The one story, spacious house can accommodate up to nine women in semi private bedrooms and shared bathrooms. There is a fully equipped, modern kitchen, beautiful backyard with shaded lounge spaces, and an inviting living room space with couches, a fireplace and a TV.

MFI provides all the groceries, and clients take turns preparing meals for the house with the assistance of staff. Friday evenings, however, are usually nights out at restaurants, and breakfast is prepared for the clients on the weekends.

Treatment and Staff

Treatment at Raincross consists of structured programming days of group therapy, exercise, AA meetings and Big Book study. Programming addresses gender-specific issues of self esteem or peer pressure. The women work on relapse prevention techniques and coping skills, and have life skills training classes, like cooking and money management, and anger management. Clients can expect both individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based approaches and trauma-informed care practices. Treatment at Raincross is usually 30 days, though depending on insurance can be shorter, or in some cases can last up to 90 days.

A typical day at Raincross usually includes an early morning wake up, meditation, activities, group therapy and some time for personal assignments and reflection. Programming is seven days a week, though there is definitely time for relaxation and fun within the schedule.

Raincross has the unique feature of having its own medical facility on site in the administration building, which makes it simple for clients to take care of any medical concerns during their treatment. There are medication management services for co-occurring disorders.

MFI Recovery has a large staff of medical professionals, like physicians and nurses, CSACs and LMFTs. There are also a number of support staff members who are essential to the coordination of clients services.

Extras

Every Friday the clients have a fun night out together. Some recreational activities can include bowling, movie nights, and barbecues. Clients are also provided with a gym membership. Every Saturday there is family education, and family counseling is a service that’s offered for those with a loved one in treatment.

In Summary

The Raincross facility through MFI Recovery not only provides a safe and beautiful place for women to undergo treatment, but it also gives them a solid sense of community. Treatment is structured and personalized, addressing common issues that women face when dealing with an addiction. Most of all, MFI has comprehensive programs and experienced, caring staff who strive to make each client’s experience a productive and healthy one. Raincross is an excellent choice for female-oriented residential rehab in Southern California.

  1. There are rules and some girls do not follow them and get away with it. The staff has there favorite girls. These girls run the house tell clients what to do. They watch what they want on TV . Never let anyone else watch anything. They call out other women on things but they are the ones who do not follow the rules. That girl’s name is Katie fry. The staff are always on Facebook when should be working. They sleep at there night shiffed when they should be working. You should investigate this house. They really don’t care for there clients. It’s all about a pay check. Thank you
