While programs may vary somewhat, each includes both individual and group therapy drawing on a range of evidence-based treatment practices such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and EMDR. Support for co-occurring disorders is also available, as is medication management when necessary. Clients are also expected to participate in 12-step recovery as part of the program.
The staff at Maple Mountain Recovery consists of LCSWs, MDs, case managers, LMHCs and additional Master’s-level therapists.

To support the clinical approaches mentioned above, the organization also offers holistic groups covering yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Other services include somewhat cutting-edge and experimental techniques such as the Serenity BioSound method, a kind of biofeedback method which incorporates music and vibrations to help clients relax and clear tension.
