Treatment and Staff

The process typically lasts between four and seven days, and clients move into the residential program upon completion. The length of residential care depends on the needs of the individual. While in residential, clients participate in treatment seven days a week, including six hours of therapy on the weekends.
Programming combines evidence-based models, holistic measures, experiential therapies, skills training, psychoeducation and 12-step meetings. Clients engage in weekly individual therapy sessions and daily group therapy rooted in CBT, DBT, ACT and mindfulness-based CBT. The facility also offers skills training and psychoeducation courses that focus on wellness, nutrition, the disease of addiction, stress, anger, grief and relapse prevention techniques. Residents enjoy an array of holistic practices including yoga, Reiki, meditation, spiritual walks, art and music therapy. In addition, there is a weekly 12-step meeting, and a popular specialized equine assisted program.
