The Joint Commission-accredited facility specializes in the care of men and women struggling with alcohol and substance use disorders, in addition to individuals with co-occurring disorders like trauma and depression. Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment clients first go through an extensive intake evaluation. It includes a personal medical history, current circumstances and an account of substance use. Consequently, the Magnolia team designs the best possible personalized care plan. When necessary, the client transfers into a medical detox phase that includes 24/7 medical supervision and medication to mitigate withdrawal effects.
Upon completion of detox, individuals either move into residential care or IOP. The IOP is ideal for clients who either cannot commit to inpatient treatment, or who are transitioning from the residential phase back into regular life. Either way, they receive consistent treatment while remaining at home and continuing to work. The IOP includes three hours of therapy for three days a week.
Magnolia Recovery Ranch offers a multifaceted approach that integrates a number of therapeutic methods including traditional and evidence-based models, 12-step, experiential programming, equine-assisted care, holistic practices, relapse prevention and psychoeducation. Clients engage in weekly individual therapy in addition to group therapy three days a week. Therapists utilize traditional talk therapy as well as CBT, DBT, ACT and problem-solving therapy.
Individuals participate in regular 12-step meetings in the community. Psychoeducation courses focus on an array of relevant topics such as the disease of addiction, relapse prevention strategies, coping mechanisms, self-esteem and nutrition. Clients also work with a case manager to design a continued support and growth plan that includes employment opportunities. In addition, the facility believes in the powerful impact of family involvement to the success of a sustainable, long-term recovery.
The multidisciplinary Magnolia Ranch Recovery team consists of therapists, nurses, social workers and therapists. For clients with co-occurring disorders, the facility specializes in dual diagnosis support through medication management.
The aftercare program at Magnolia provides a range of resources for individuals that have completed the program. When necessary, the facility directs former clients to sober living accommodations.
