The Basics
Located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Luna Living is a CARF-accredited behavioral health facility that provides short-term stays combining outpatient treatment and ambulatory detox. Programs typically last for about 10 days and take place in a spacious, 6,600 square foot home in a historic district in the suburbs of Cleveland. The clinic has experienced medical and psychiatric professionals on-site to help design individualized care plans for each cIient.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, all participants go through an initial intake and assessment process to help the staff determine their needs. Although the organization doesn’t offer inpatient detox, the entire treatment plan at Luna Living is essentially an ambulatory detox that also facilitates Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) along with an NAD+ amino acid complex, a brand called Aphesin.
As clients are stabilizing, they also participate in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) style plan, which includes individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based treatment practices including CBT and DBT. Psychoeducation and life skills groups are also worked into the program. Although the facility does offer medical and psychiatric oversight, those with severe dual diagnosis issues may need to seek additional help elsewhere. Though 12-step participation is not always required, it may be recommended in some cases.
The staff at Luna Living consists of MDs, case managers, LPCs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

Unlike many similar programs, Luna Living has its own approach to optimize each client’s program. The system consists of Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), a process which uses neurofeedback and frequent check-ins to make any adjustments to clients’ therapy and medicine regimens as necessary. Although the program is only a 10-day course of care, those who complete it can work with staff members to develop aftercare and discharge plans as necessary.

Treatment includes evidence-based therapy, ambulatory detox with vitamin infusions and medical oversight.
