Lumiere Detox Review
Lumiere Detox Center is a luxury inpatient facility in Jupiter, Florida with individualized treatment plans for men and women. It offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and dual diagnosis support. Treatment integrates evidence-based approaches with psychoeducation and an extended alumni program, all of which are implemented in a private and serene therapeutic setting.
Accommodations and Food
The 30-bed residential facility is brand new and offers plenty of comfort and space. There are private and double occupancy rooms that are small, but cozy, and furnished with queen or full sized beds, nightstands, a dresser and have a private bathroom en suite. The open lounge area has couches and chairs along with a mounted flat screen TV, which can be enjoyed during down times.
The state of the art kitchen serves three freshly prepared meals daily and healthy snacks. The meals could be described as highly nutritious comfort food.
Treatment and Staff
The gender-specific programming is highly structured from the beginning and offers one-on-one attention from staff. During the detox phase, which typically takes three to seven days, depending on the substance, clients are medically monitored 24 hours a day to make sure the process is comfortable. Clients participate in very little during this stage since this can be very taxing on the body, so the main focus is stabilization and relaxation. There are group sessions available if the client feels well enough to participate.
The residential step is a full day program that begins at 7 am. A significant chunk of daily activity is spent in group sessions, though there are also several individual sessions offered per week. Treatment is individualized and focused on learning how to live a happy life being drug and alcohol free in addition to looking into the underlying reason for their addiction and uncovering triggers. CBT based programming is integrated into sessions, and groups focus on relieving stress and anxiety, meditation, relapse prevention, coping skills, setting goals and creating an aftercare plan. Twelve-step recovery is not implemented.
The staff is lead by medical doctors and psychiatrists, and supported by RNs, LCSWs and CADCs. Additionally, a majority of the staff have gone through a detox and inpatient program themselves and are able to offer that added element of personal support.
Extras
There is an indoor exercise room where instructor lead fitness classes are held, and a basketball court. There are also sober outings and social gatherings, like movie nights, bowling and BBQ’s.

Treatment at Lumiere Detox Center is entirely client focused, with the only concern being the wellbeing of each individual and open communication with therapists. The facility itself is state of the art, and Lumiere prides itself on comfort and the relaxed atmosphere. This is a great choice for those who are in need of intensive services in a private and caring setting.
