Lomonaco Palms Review
Lomonaco Palms is a luxury detox residence located in Laguna Beach, a scenic seaside community in southern California’s Orange County. Lomonaco Palms has been in operation for over nine years. Previously, it was affiliated with Casa Bella, which has become a women’s sober living facility. Lomonaco Palms also provides residential treatment at a nearby facility, with treatment plans ranging from 30 days to six months.
Accommodations and Food
Lomonaco Palms’ detox occupies a luxurious five million dollar home situated on the Laguna Beach hillside. The home has 16 beds, and clients usually stay three to seven days, though treatment may be extended depending on client progress. Both double occupancy and private rooms are available in the sun-filled home, which has a modern décor.
Each bedroom has its own TV. Meals are prepared by a private chef in the home’s large kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances. The home has beach views throughout. Once they’re well enough, clients can exercise in the home gym/yoga studio.
Treatment and Staff
As previously mentioned, most clients stay in detox for five to seven days, though some may extend their time if their health requires more supervision. While in detox, clients are supervised by a physician and nursing staff. Opioid addicts are given Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone.
Lomonaco Palms has a multi-disciplinary treatment staff, including psychiatrists and MFTs, who are equipped to provide dual diagnosis support. While in detox, clients can receive individual therapy and group therapy, depending on their progress. The staff can also take clients to 12-step meetings on request.
Extras
As clients progress, they can take advantage of Lomonaco Palms’ prime location; the beach is within walking distance and hiking trails are nearby as well. Staff take clients on supervised beach walks and create beach bonfire gatherings on the weekends.
