Individual sessions commonly last 50 minutes, and couples and family therapy between an hour and 90 minutes.
Locus offers a holistic approach to care that integrates a number of therapeutic models including evidence-based methods, humanistic philosophies and psychodynamic therapy to address the individual’s past experience, family dynamics and unconscious content. While evaluating current sources of stress, the team helps clients to develop and utilize new habits and behaviors. The facility offers individual and group therapy as well as couples and familial counseling, all for an array of issues that range from mental illnesses to personal problems such as self-injury, codependency, communication breakdowns and impulse management.
