The Basics
Located in Libby, Montana, Lincoln County Mental Health Center is an outpatient-based drug and alcohol treatment facility owned and operated by Western Montana Mental Health Center. Treatment and Staff
Before beginning therapy, each participant must go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members develop their treatment plans. While the specifics may vary, each plan features both individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT. Dual diagnosis support is available as is medication management. Throughout the program, adults are also required to attend regular 12-step meetings. Group sessions cover topics including addiction education, relapse prevention, crisis intervention, problem solving and emotional processing. Once stabilized, clients can also attend groups which focus on vocational and pre-vocational skills to help prepare them to reintegrate into the work force. Length of treatment is dependent on each client’s individual treatment plan. Detox is not available.
The staff at Lincoln County Mental Health Center consists of MSWs, MDs, case managers and additional Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
Aside from the above, the facility also offers psychiatric assessments, DUI/DWI classes and case management for adults and children. Urinalysis testing, parenting classes and family therapy are also available. Those who complete a primary care regimen can also continue with aftercare at a stepped-down rate.
