Treatment and Staff

All programs utilize evidence-based therapies, such as CBT and DBT, as well as relapse prevention, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and family therapy. PRIME for Life is a prevention and intervention option and is available in addition to traditional 12-step groups. Staff consists of CADCs, LPCs and LCSWs, all of whom are overseen by a psychiatrist. As the facility is located in a hospital, there are plenty of MDs on-site as well in the case of a medical emergency.

Extras

In addition to substance abuse treatment for adults, PHP and IOP are also available for children and adolescents suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, chemical dependency and other disorders. Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT) is also available for those with severe depression, schizophrenia and certain other severe mental disorders. The youth female IOP is a behavioral program geared towards 12 to 18-year old girls demonstrating violent and self-harming behaviors. Crossroads is a youth and adolescent PHP serving both genders between the ages of five and 18 with emotional and behavioral issues. This track provides crisis stabilization and can serve as a step down option. The Peace for Promises IOP is a school-based program using the Seven Challenges that teach teenagers about alternatives to alcohol and drug experimentation.
