  1. Mr. Novak led an intervention which basically amounted to blackmail. He and my soon to be ex-wife’s sex therapist tricked me into sitting in on an “intervention” with no one but him, my wife’s therapist, and a county Sheriff. During this “intervention, Mr. Novak threatened that David Silvers, M.S. would abuse his position as a therapist to have me medically committed to a hospital for 72 hours if I did not “voluntarily” attend a sex-addict rehab clinic Pine Grove in Hattiesburg, MS. When I asked what would happen if I refused anyway, he read me a blackmail letter from my future ex-wife stating that they would release false derogatory information about me and destroy my future employment opportunities.

I choose not to discuss this case to respect my client’s confidentiality. I will mention that the allegations presented in Chad F’s comments of “blackmail” are false. As of this date, 8 May 2018, there has not been any actions taken against New Life Recovery Services, LLC. In fact, The Better Business Bureau has awarded us an A + rating for our outstanding work in the community. The same year we were also awarded the Peer Recovery Specialist Award by the Okaloosa/Walton Mental Association. We will continue to provide intervention services nationally and help those who suffer from substance abuse disorder.
