Jacksonville Treatment Center (JTC) is a SAMHSA and CARF-accredited outpatient treatment facility that specializes in the care of clients struggling with substance use disorders, specifically heroin and opioids. JTC services all of North Carolina with locations in Sanford, Rocky Mount, Lumberton, Apex, Morehead City and Nags Head in the Outer Banks. The facility employs a disease model of treatment and utilizes an array of therapeutic methods in addition to addiction medication. While medication and individual and group therapy are integral components of treatment, the 12-step method is not part of the programming. The Jacksonville facility is open seven days a week with morning hours.
Treatment and Staff
JTC believes that there are many attributing factors involved in addiction. Rather than strictly treating the client’s symptoms, the facility seeks to heal the “whole person” and make positive changes in all areas of their life. As such, JTC offers personalized treatment customized to the specific needs of each client. Each individual’s tailored care plan is based off of a comprehensive intake assessment that includes lab testing, an evaluation with a licensed counselor and a medical exam administered by a physician. Individuals that receive individualized care have a better chance to sustain a long-term recovery.
JTC offers a holistic approach that also integrates a range of therapies including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), case management services and psychoeducation as well as individual, family and group therapy. For clients with an addiction to heroin and other opioids, JTC staff administers methadone and buprenorphine to curb the uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.
The multidisciplinary JTC team is comprised of certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, MFTs and an ASAM certified physician that specializes in addiction medicine.
In addition to treatment for clients with substance use disorders, JTC also offers blood work, drug screenings and testing for pregnancy, hepatitis and tuberculosis.
Jacksonville Treatment Center is a network of treatment facilities that provide outpatient care for clients struggling with opioid addiction. The facility offers individualized treatment that includes addiction medicine, individual and group counseling as well as case management services. With extremely reasonable prices, JTC is a credit to the community and is a great resource for anyone seeking immediate help for themselves, friend or family member.
