The Basics
Integrations Wellness and Recovery Center, LLC provides outpatient substance abuse services in Hutchinson, Minnesota, a small city 60 miles west of Minneapolis. Founded in 2011 by Master’s-level counselor Jill Decker and psychologist Rich Decker, Integrations specializes in treating clients with co-occurring disorders.
Prior to Integrations, the Deckers—both of whom are also Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs)—spent several years at other Minnesota facilities counseling clients with mental health and substance use disorders. Together, they combine their expertise to guide clients on a journey to wellness using evidence-based methods and individualized treatment plans.
Treatment and Staff
The duration of treatment at Integrations is progress-based, with each client working with the Deckers to customize a plan of individual and group therapy. For the first eight weeks of treatment, most clients attend group therapy three times a week and individual therapy every other week.
Integrations exclusively treats individuals with dual diagnosis, so each therapy group explores recovery in the context of overall mental health and wellness. Integrations utilizes CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI) as well as interactive journaling. Topics addressed include relapse prevention, life skills and trauma recovery and groups usually contain ten to sixteen participants. If clients have outside therapists, they’re encouraged to continue sessions while in treatment at Integrations. If they don’t have a therapist, sessions are scheduled with Dr. Decker for one-on-one attention.
Peer support is an integral aspect of recovery at Integrations. In order to help create a sober community, clients are required to attend 12-step, Celebrate Recovery or other such support groups and must work with a sponsor within two weeks of beginning treatment at Integrations.
Extras
Clients can step down gradually from general outpatient treatment and attend only a weekly aftercare group for up to six months. Integrations also provides family counseling and Dr. Decker has extensive experience working with children who display challenging behavior.
