The Basics
Located just outside St. Louis Missouri, INSynergy provides outpatient-based detox and substance abuse treatment, as well as dual diagnosis support. The mission of this facility is to minimize the pain of withdrawal from alcohol or opiates utilizing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and promote long-term recovery with evidence-based therapy.
Treatment and Staff
New clients undergo lengthy assessments and receive individualized treatment plans. Outpatient detox or maintenance medication is provided for clients suffering from withdrawal symptoms. MAT with Suboxone or Naltrexone is used and clients are medically supervised at least three days a week. The six-month treatment program includes case management, individual therapy, group and family therapy utilizing a CBT approach an introduction to the 12 steps. Each client has the option to meet with a group six days a week, Mondays through Saturdays, including some evenings. Groups cover relapse prevention, coping skills, stress reduction approaches and emotional regulation techniques.
INSynergy is led by Medical Director Arturo Taca, MD, who is board certified in addiction medicine. His is also one of only a few certified Suboxone providers in the St. Louis area and specializes in co-occurring disorders. The other team members include a PhD-level LPC, diet and nutrition coach and two CADCs.
Extras
Aftercare includes individual and group therapy, per client’s needs. Referrals to sober livings and recovery support groups, including 12-step meetings, are provided.
All-inclusive costs are $8,000 for the first six months of the program and $4,000 for those who wish to complete an additional six months. Financing options are available for those who need assistance.
