Innovation 360 Austin Review
Innovation 360 Austin provides outpatient treatment through a unique model developed by its sister facility, Innovation 360 Dallas. It creates a behavioral healthcare team for each client. The team develops a responsive treatment plan that includes coaching, support and therapy tailored to the client’s weekly activities, obligations and goals.
Innovation 360 Austin has been in operation for over two years. Its treatment teams often help clients recognize the depth of their substance abuse challenges and help them transition to inpatient treatment. Teams also can be effective in helping clients transition out of inpatient treatment into independent life in recovery.
Treatment and Staff
Treatment at Innovation 360 Austin is based on the center’s “7 Pillars of Life Development” philosophy. The pillars include substance abuse, mental health, spiritual health, physical health, relationships, work/school and emerging adulthood, which addresses a client’s growing responsibilities and need for complex goals.
Each week, a client meets with a primary therapist who then gives “marching orders” to their Life Development team regarding the goals and treatment activities for the week. Clients may have additional individual therapy appointments, job training classes, 12-step or SMART Recovery meetings and drug testing. Innovation 360 may also help clients enroll in nearby Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and make sure they attend assigned treatment groups. They can also help clients locate inpatient and sober living programs.
The Life Development team may include LPCs, LCSWs, recovery technicians and coaches. Innovation 360’s therapists work with several area psychiatrists to provide clients with dual diagnosis support. Therapy uses a harm reduction approach as well as CBT and facilitated exploration of the 12 steps.
Depending on need, Innovation 360 Austin may act as a client’s primary or secondary support service. The cost of treatment varies greatly depending on the comprehensiveness of each client’s team. Prices usually range from $3,500 for several hours of support each week to $30,000 per month for 24/7 support and supervision.
Extras
Innovation 360 Austin hosts a family group each Tuesday for addiction support and education. It also holds a three-day children’s group for children ages seven to 12. Participants learn how to feel safe and practice self-care in families impacted by substance abuse.
Innovation 360 is one of the few centers currently offering Daring Way and Rising Strong workshops. These events are based on the shame and vulnerability work of Dr. Brene Brown and help participants cultivate courage and resiliency.
