Cherry Hill provides a comprehensive medical detox program that includes around-the-clock clinical supervision and medication that helps mitigate painful withdrawal symptoms such as nausea and hallucinations. The facility employs medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol to block the effects of opiates and reduce the likelihood of relapse. While the length of detox depends entirely on the needs of the individual, most clients stay between four and six days.
In addition to medications, the facility also incorporates an array of therapeutic methods into the treatment model. Clients engage in individual and group therapy sessions with therapists trained in evidence-based methods like Motivational Interviewing (MI) to resolve indifference and EMDR to treat trauma. The facility also offers coaching and referrals to residential and outpatient treatment facilities. The Cherry Hill team is comprised of clinicians, therapists and case managers. The facility provides a specialized track for dual diagnosis support that includes medication management and medical services.
